Why do you bill on a three-month cycle?

SUMMARY

1. To prevent cancellation of accounts if payment is not received on time. 2. To pass on the cost-savings to our customers. 3. Industry standard

DETAILED SOLUTION

This is done for a couple of reasons. First, the three-month billing cycle is almost an industry standard. Most web-hosting companies bill on a quarterly cycle. Also, the infrequency of the billing periods equates to a cost-savings that is passed on to our customers. The less time we spend billing, the more time we have to properly facilitate your needs. Finally, the quarterly billing cycle helps in reducing the risk associated with business on the Internet. The three-month billing cycle allows us to give our customers a little hedge of time to pay their bills. If we billed monthly, accounts would be automatically shut off if payment was not received on time.
