What is a POP3 server and what should it be set to in my email program?

SUMMARY

The POP3 server is the server that is used to send/receive email messages.

DETAILED SOLUTION

POP stands for Post Office Protocol. You should configure your POP3 server or host in your e-mail client to "mail.yourdomain.com" if you have a domainname or "mail.animus.net" if you are a non-virtual account. Some e-mail programs ask for a POP3 account. This should be your username. If you are using Eudora, you will need to setup your POP3 account to "yourusername@mail.yourdomainname.com"
