How do I use FTP?
SUMMARY
If you already have an FTP client, it will work with our system. If not,
download a freeware FTP client from the Internet.
DETAILED SOLUTION
If you do not already have an FTP client go to "Links to other resources" and
download WS-FTP.
Otherwise, follow the steps below to connect to your site and begin
file transfers.
- In your FTP client, set the server to connect to as:
login.yourdomain.com
- Now you can delete, rename, or copy files from or to your account.
- Remember! When you FTP in, you are in your HOME directory. You will want
to make sure you are in the directory (folder) called WWW. That is the root
directory of yourdomain.com.
