Where do I place my CGI files?
SUMMARY
You can put your CGI files in any directory you create except the
"cgi-bin".
DETAILED SOLUTION
We recommend you put your cgi files in the "cgi" directory that your
account is originally setup with. The "cgi" directory is mainly put there
for your convenience and is not a mandatory place for cgi files.
However, we strongly recommend that you do not make use of any directory
named "cgi-bin". The "cgi-bin" is a special directory that the web server
makes use of outside your own account for global cgi scripts. Hence, any
files existing in a directory named "cgi-bin" in your account directory
will be inaccessible from the web.
